In my younger, “I’m going to buy these for when I get an apartment… sometime..” phase, I have acquired enough kitchen-ware to last a lifetime. Rummaging through the boxes specified to be used “for future apartment” is making me so happy! I HAVE SUCH CUTE DISHES. I’m going to cook all the time. (Read: I’m going to make Joshua cook for me all the...

Now I know where I get it from.
First week of school thus far:
Monday: I only have one class from 6-8:50PM, Drawing II. Cool professor.
Tuesday: Biology 2PM-3:20PM. Absolutely dreading it, but the professor seems nice so far. I have two more classes from 4-5:50PM and from 6-7:20PM, but they were canceled due to maintenance that had to be done around campus.
Wednesday: I had Biology Lab from 2PM-4:50PM and was supposed to go to Drawing at 6PM, but classes...
Bittersweet.
It’s been a while since I’ve written anything more than a few sentences in here. I’ve been spending my time internet-less in Providence. My life has consisted of getting little to no sleep, getting a new apartment and spending time with my boy.
Today was the most eventful and strange day I’ve had in a while: I got a flat tire this morning on my way to work, but I was able...

Apparently someone thinks I’m a “Hot Kawaii Girl”, Hahahaha.

Finding money in an old wallet / bag is one of the best feelings. Hello gas money.
Two shirts, two pairs of pants and shoes all for free! Perks of working retail. I also got my schedule for the week where I go back to school and it’s pretty awesome. I’m excited to go back! I always miss school when I’m on winter/summer break. As time consuming and challenging as it is sometimes, it’s fun to learn new things/meet new people.
I’m almost done with my...
"I'll remember that"
I love nights like tonight :) Being picked up by a car full of my friends, spending two hours in the kitchen making food, playing some intense games of poker and talking in various European accents. What a nice snow day.
Practice makes perfect.
I need to work on drawing hands and over-all facial features. The majority of my original artwork is “cartoon-esque” but it doesn’t hurt to practice drawing and painting realistically.
Today:
+ Buy one get one, free drawing pads at Michael’s.
+ New markers.
+ Applied for a third job (I’m insane, clearly).
+ Friends :)
+ Got kicked off of Chat-Roulette -> Found another website with far too many penis’
+ Became slightly addicted to poker/winning.
Although I hated driving home tonight, I couldn’t help but think that everything looks so much prettier...
52 Weeks.
So, I’m sure you’re all familiar with the 52 week/365 day photography challenge? Well, today I decided to take on this challenge myself, but with a little bit of a twist: Instead of taking photographs, I will be creating art. Drawings, paintings, whatever comes to mind. One project every week for an entire year. I’ll post my progress by Sunday of each week.
I’ve...
I hate that I can barely spend the money that I work so damn hard for. Bills/rent, I hate you so much. I want so badly to be able to save my money for something that I WANT.
I need a vacation. London, anyone?

2011.
Just a few things that I’d like to accomplish this year in no specific order:
1. Create more art outside of school.
2. Take pictures more often.
3. Find an apartment that feels like home.
4. Tim Burton exhibit in LA. (May 29 - October 31)
5. Harry Potter theme park.
6. Crotchet.
7. Travel.
So, there was a giant stuffed lion in our driveway yesterday and when Joshua and I came home last night: Mike: Dude, did you see that stuffed lion? Scared the shit out of me. Joshua: Me too!
*Couple of hours later*
Mike: How long did it take you to realize that it wasn’t a real lion? Joshua: I didn’t think it was a real lion….
All the while I’m rolling all over the...
Joshua left for tour tonight! He’s headed west to kick off a pretty sweet tour. If I remember correctly, most (if not all) of the shows he’s playing are sold out. He’s cute when he’s nervous, but I know they’ll do well. I’m proud of that boy, I don’t think I tell him enough. I find comfort in the fact that this tour is sponsored by Motel 6, so he’ll...
